I recently fell victim to a rather devious Mastercard scam whereby the perpetrators attempted to extract my card information. Not long after, I had to cancel my card because they had emptied my account! What’s truly alarming is that when I tried to ring the number back, it was completely unreachable. This sort of trickery is quite clever but incredibly risky. If you receive a call from anyone who isn’t unquestionably your bank, especially in relation to your credit card, exercise extreme caution and don’t be fooled. Stay alert, folks!
