they ring every single day, phone goes for about 4 rings then just stops, so frustrating. finally sussed out who it is, now i’m gonna call them back and hang up as soon as they pick up, serves them right. idiots!

they said they worked for some pension advice firm, but when i asked ‘which pension exactly? is it the government one?’ the guy kinda faltered and then asked if it was a private pension i’d arranged myself. i told him no, i’m a teacher (used to be, not anymore). he got proper confused then and just mumbled something about being unable to compete or whatever. that was the end of it. blocked the number straight away so they don't keep calling me!

I've been inundated with calls from this number, ringing me three or four times daily, even at 9 in the evening! It's utterly unbearable. When I do pick up, there’s nothing but silence on the other end, which is quite unsettling, especially at my age of 65. It's quite distressing, to say the least. I appreciate you reading my concerns, and I truly hope measures can be implemented to put an end to these relentless calls!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from some gas compliance firm or whatever. They were chatting about new rules for gas meters. I told him we don't have gas here, only electricity, which is true. Then he goes on saying the new law covers electricity too or something. Bit confusing if you ask me.

Got a really stubborn person claiming to be some kind of “consultant” trying to chat with whoever handled the energy deals. When I asked for details, they were all over the place, muttering something about meters and new rules - complete rubbish. They should just be honest from the start about what they want, speak clearly, and say upfront they’re trying to sell you something. That’d save a lot of hassle.
