I received a call on my business line today, and it was one of those automated voices claiming to be from TSB bank. They warned me about suspicious transactions from my card to Amazon and some overseas accounts, directing me to press 1 for more info or 2 for something else.

Feeling intrigued, I rang the number back since it appeared to be local. To my surprise, the chap who answered was a party planner for stag and hen dos. He sounded quite rattled and informed me he had already received similar callbacks. Clearly, someone has been up to no good, possibly faking his number for their shady schemes. He mentioned he’d be talking to his phone provider to sort it out. It's a right mess, if you ask me!

Received a call with no one on the other end. When I tried ringing it back, I found out the number isn't valid.

I've had a barrage of missed calls from an unidentified number in Tyneside-five in total! Strangely, not a single voicemail was left. I'm getting the feeling it's probably some sort of nuisance call.
