Feeling intrigued, I rang the number back since it appeared to be local. To my surprise, the chap who answered was a party planner for stag and hen dos. He sounded quite rattled and informed me he had already received similar callbacks. Clearly, someone has been up to no good, possibly faking his number for their shady schemes.
