Yesterday, I got a call from someone speaking with a South Asian accent who claimed there was an issue with my phone account. Since I’m based in France, it struck me as odd that a call about my account would be coming from the UK. He asked me to switch on my PC, but I told him it wasn’t working and that we were expecting a technician. After that, he just went quiet, said "Oh", and ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
