The customer service here is really great. They’ve got this SO grape 2 year fixed plan which is quite pricey, but that's expected given how energy prices are at the moment. They rang me earlier but didn’t say anything or leave a message. I looked it up and since I’m with So Energy, I guess that’s the reason for the call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Received a call from someone purporting to be So Energy, claiming they were initiating a renewal. The number appeared as being from South Shields, and the person had quite a strong Geordie twang. As soon as I hinted at spam callers, they swiftly cut the line. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

It’s a third party company calling on behalf of So Energy. They never leave a voicemail, which feels quite pushy since I get about three calls daily. Someone from So Energy did tell me they hired this firm to try and get customers onto new contracts. But honestly, their approach doesn’t feel right to me. I was also told they can’t actually offer any deals better than what’s already online, so to me it looks like they’re just targeting people who might not be as aware.

I received a call from someone who claimed to be from SO Energy, stating that my tariff was coming to an end and that they could provide me with a more affordable deal. When I mentioned that I'd like to review my emails before making any decisions, she seemed rather irked and insisted, “We must be SO Energy; otherwise, how would we know your name, number, and that your tariff is about to expire?” However, my tariff isn’t even due to end for a couple of months! It really felt off, almost like a dodgy scam attempt.

Someone called saying they were from my energy provider and kept asking loads of questions to verify who I was. Weird thing is, they already knew when my fixed deal was up, so I’m thinking maybe they’ve had a data breach or something? The bloke sounded genuine enough, but the amount of questions felt off. Plus, I know “So Energy” operate out of London, yet this call came from a Newcastle number. Watch out for this!

its a company linked to SO Energy. I rang SO Energy (who I currently use) and they said its a marketing firm that rings up to offer deals from loads of companies, including their own! I’ve put in a complaint coz I’m getting like 5 or 6 calls every single day!

I received a call from a number purporting to be "So Energy." Interestingly, they mentioned that my tariff was nearing its end, despite the fact that I still have another couple of months left. They were eager to help me save money - rather unusual for a company, isn't it? They then proceeded to tell me my per unit price would jump by a staggering 100%. Of course, they asked for my bank details to set up this “new” tariff. Just way too many red flags for my liking. And to "So Energy" - if this was genuinely from you, it’s high time you revamped your customer service! Count me out!
