Phone number ☎️ 01914920256 👆 is reported as a persistent and intrusive source of calls, often linked to a company related to windows and conservatories installations. Callers frequently ask for previous residents by name and sometimes misrepresent themselves as a well-known manufacturer. Many recipients express frustration over repeated unsolicited contact despite being on the Telephone Preference Service and requesting removal from the company’s database, with some calls ending abruptly or being silent to provoke a callback. There are reports of a refusal to delete ex-directory numbers and concerns about potential scams involving hang-ups once the call is answered. Although the firm appears legitimate with certified work, the volume and nature of calls have led to complaints and advice to escalate issues through official channels such as Ofcom.

The individual who rang us ended up leaving a voicemail on our answering machine, addressing us directly by name. Strangely enough, they completely neglected to mention who they were or what they wanted.

We've been receiving a barrage of calls at my grandmother's residence. Each time we pick up and say hello, the line goes dead almost instantly, as if they're waiting for us to speak. Occasionally, the silence on the other end feels like a call centre, and other times, there's a faint noise just before we respond, only for the caller to hang up immediately. It's quite peculiar and does raise suspicions that it might be some sort of scam designed to lure us into calling them back. Interestingly, the numbers aren't even withheld.

Received a call from this number today. A woman asked if I was the person she was looking for, and then hung up on me. Honestly, I'm not about to waste my time calling them back. They can whistle for it. Absolute numpties.

I keep receiving calls from various individuals, both from the UK and overseas, inquiring about 'Mr or Mrs Angus.' It’s rather strange, as they have never set foot in my home, and I don’t have a clue who they are. Ever since I relocated nearly four years back, BT has been providing me with their contact number. Even though I've opted out of the telephone directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems that no matter what steps I take, these persistent callers refuse to stop. Is there an authority or organisation to whom I could escalate this issue?

This number has called us twice in the space of an hour, and each time I've answered with a simple hello, only for them to hang up immediately. Has anyone got any inkling about who's behind this number?

Has anyone got any clue about this number? I keep getting calls from it, but when I try to ring back, it just doesn't connect. It's so frustrating! Anyone else had the same issue?

I keep receiving calls from various individuals, both within the UK and from overseas, inquiring about 'Mr or Mrs Angus'. It’s baffling, as I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting these people, and they clearly have no affiliation with my household. Ever since I relocated nearly four years ago, BT handed over their number to me, and despite being ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they simply refuse to take a hint. It feels like an endless cycle of annoyance. Is there anyone I can turn to for assistance in reporting this relentless disturbance?

I've been receiving these irritating calls followed by a message saying "the other participant has ended the call." Frustratingly, I'm unable to return their call to let them know exactly how I feel, so I've gone ahead and filed a complaint with Ofcom. I really urge others to take a moment and submit complaints as well, since it seems to be one of the few ways to tackle these bothersome nuisances. Plus, it can't hurt to emphasise the issue when filling in the Ofcom form, can it? 😉 Here’s a direct link to the Ofcom complaint form - give it a go! consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2009/07/malicious-or-nuisance-calls/ https://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/tell-us/webflow/silent-calls/

I just received a rather curious phone call from this number on the 29th of September, 2014 at precisely 10:20 in the morning. The caller addressed me by name, asserting they were from Apple North East, a company which deals with windows and such. A few years back, we did have some windows fitted by them, but since then, I've fielded a few rather dubious calls. One memorable instance was last year; I had quite the run-in with a former manager who had somehow retained my contact details after leaving the company, which resulted in a rather irate exchange. Today's conversation was different, though. This new caller, claiming affiliation with Apple, expressed a desire to pop round tomorrow. However, he wasn’t too persistent when I turned him down. Now, I find myself pondering whether this was truly Apple reaching out or perhaps some other entity masquerading under their name. Regardless, the next time I need any window work done, I shall be contacting Apple directly through the official number available on their website.

I started getting phone calls from this number last year, and it turned out to be those Safestyle Windows folks. They were ringing me up each week, always addressing me by name. After a bit of a heated exchange with one of their callers, where I insisted they take my ex-directory number off their list, the bloke on the line flat-out refused to do so. Fast forward to a few days ago, I got another call. Couldn’t catch the name, but all I heard was "replacement windows." I told them I wasn't interested and promptly hung up. Then, not even half an hour later, I received yet another call. This time I recognised the voice as that same annoying chap I’d had a row with previously. He tried to pitch me the "replacement windows" spiel again, and I told him to "jog on" before ending the call. It really feels like they’re still holding onto my ex-directory number, despite my repeated requests to get it wiped. I'm beyond frustrated at this point!

Last year, I was plagued by calls from this number, which turned out to be from Safestyle Windows. They rang me every week, always addressing me by name. After enduring this for a while, I lost my temper on one call and insisted they remove my ex-directory number from their records. The chap on the line simply didn’t comply. Just a few days back, I received another call. I didn’t catch the name, but I heard “replacement windows” come through. I promptly replied with “not interested” and put the phone down. Then, an additional call came through about 20 minutes ago. Much to my annoyance, I recognised the same persistent voice from last year. Once again, I heard “replacement windows,” to which I retorted “go away” before cutting the conversation short. It's clear they’ve yet to delete my ex-directory number from their system. This is becoming exceedingly frustrating!

I received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, it disconnected. Upon investigation, it appears to originate from a local company that operates a call centre covering the entire country. Unfortunately, there's no way to return the call on that number. However, if you wish to have your number taken off their list, you can contact them at 0191 492 2305.

It seems that this establishment focuses on conservatories, window, and door installations, if I’m not mistaken. For the past couple of years, I've received a rather incessant stream of calls from them. It's not uncommon for these calls to flood in, with as many as five or six in a single week, and sometimes I even get two calls in a day. Then, it will go quiet for a few weeks, only for them to start up again. To be honest, I have no interest in any further work, and these persistent calls are becoming quite bothersome. I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but since they’ve previously completed work for me that's still under warranty, I’m wary of blocking their number as that could complicate matters if any issues arise with my windows or door. The job they did was up to scratch and holds the FENSA certification, though it certainly came with a hefty price tag. I usually pride myself on being courteous, but they’re really pushing my patience!

It seems we're constantly receiving calls from various individuals, both local and overseas, inquiring about 'Mr or Mrs Angus'. We've no idea who these people are, nor have they ever resided in our home. When we settled here nearly four years ago, BT assigned us their number. Despite being ex-directory and having signed up with the telephone preference service, our pleas seem to fall on deaf ears, and the nuisance calls just keep coming. Is there anyone we can contact to lodge a formal complaint about this persistent bother?
