The caller claimed to be from a company named Nationwide, located at the Team Valley Trading Estate in Tyneside. They mentioned they’d be stopping by to provide a quote for a bathroom renovation on Friday, 11th of March 2016.

Got a call from nationwide and set up a meeting with this firm called inexteriors. A friendly young guy turned up to measure my windows, and he wasn’t anywhere near pushy. When they fitted the windows the quality was spot on. I only forked out £2600 for the whole house and honestly, I’m really pleased with how they look.

I keep getting harassed by a firm called Kitchens Plus, among others, for what feels like an eternity. A couple of years back, I was in the market for a new kitchen, so I arranged for them to come round and give me a quote, even though I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. On the day of the visit, they had the audacity to call and confirm if my husband would be there. I informed them he wouldn’t be and that I was handling the quotes myself, but they outright refused to come unless he was present-clearly trying to pull some high-pressure sales tactics. I told them if they wouldn’t see me on my own, then they could forget about coming altogether. After a while, it went quiet, but then the onslaught of calls resumed. I explained that I already had a new kitchen installed, reiterated my TPS registration, and asked them to take my details off their list. Yet here I am, getting calls every few days these past months. I’ve simply stopped answering, knowing full well they won’t bother to remove me from their list.
