Got a call from someone claiming to have been working on my road. They somehow knew my full name, where I live, and even the kind of home repairs I’m interested in. When I told them I was at work, they got a bit cheeky and just ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

I keep getting ringed up maybe three or four times daily from different 0191 numbers on both my landline and mobile. The caller either cuts off as soon as the answerphone starts or won’t even pick up if I do. Honestly, it’s pointless picking up at all. Might sound a bit extreme, but I’m seriously considering switching my SIM to get a brand new number.
