They keep ringing me about my electric bill every couple of hours, really annoying.

Someone rang up asking for my personal details and meter information, said it was legally necessary to provide it. Seems dodgy to me. We’d only just changed our energy provider, and it definitely wasn’t the company we switched to. My advice: steer clear of these calls.

They phoned asking to talk to the treasurer regarding energy supply and claimed they were from Northern Utilities. I told them we've got a broker handling everything, so we don't sort energy contracts over the phone. Then they kept probing to find out who the broker was and which company our contract was with. Had to repeat myself that we don't talk about this kind of stuff on calls.
