Nathan from Northern Gas calling non stop again. The calls have been going on for months, getting more pushy and quite rude now. Joshua, who works with him, isn't as bad but still keeps calling a lot. I reported them to their customer service and requested they take our company off their list under GDPR. Up to now, they seem to have stopped.

Got some callers who are annoying and talk down to the receptionist like being nasty will get them to the MD. Honestly, don’t waste your time trying to argue with them, just hang up or leave them waiting forever on hold.

They’re a nightmare, ringing up all the time, sometimes multiple calls daily, with different callers each time. It’s nearly harassment and should definitely be reported! Even though I keep telling them to remove us from their list and that we’re not interested, they just ignore it completely. Now I mostly just hang up as soon as I recognise the number.

Got loads of calls from these lot saying they're from ngp, pretending they’re returning missed calls or someone we talked to before, but it’s all rubbish. They keep ringing even after I told them I’m not interested. Most of the people on the other end are quite rude and pushy. Best just to hang up as soon as you realise who it is, don’t bother wasting your time with them.

Got a call from an energy firm asking to speak to whoever handles the energy deals. Told them we’re not looking to chat about that now, but they kept pushing for a contact name, which I refused to give. Then they asked when our contract finishes. Put them on hold and left it a while till they gave up and hung up. Then they rang straight back wanting to talk about the British Gas contract again. Told them I’d just spoken to them, we’re not interested, and demanded to be removed from their database! When they asked why, I said so they don’t keep calling and just ended the call!!!!!!!

Got a call from NPG (some energy firm) asking to chat with the person who handles energy contracts. We probably get around 15 of these calls every week. I really don’t understand how they think they make any cash. For one, no one’s keen on discussing energy deals, and on top of that, being rude just puts people off even more. Called once and the person was really pushy and kept arguing. Even after we asked nicely to stop calling and to take our number off their list, they kept getting more rude and forceful. After a couple of months without calls, got another unpleasant call yesterday. Told them again we’re not interested and have everything sorted, but they said they’d ring back in a few months unless we emailed first! At least it’s not the constant calls we used to get several times daily. Seriously, who’d want to deal with a company acting like this?

Electricity (Telemarketer) reported by Kerry Aldridge I received a rather dubious call purporting to be from a government agency. They claimed they were reaching out to businesses exceeding their agreed-upon electricity limits, warning that Ofgem was set to levy fines on those who frequently overstep. What’s more, they tantalisingly hinted at available funding to help curtail energy consumption. At no point did they mention anything about electricity contracts, but having investigated the number, I can't help but feel that's the path they're heading down. They're due to ring back on Monday morning to chat with the MD. Such a sneaky tactic to worm their way in!

I received a call purporting to be from a government agency, supposedly aimed at businesses exceeding their allocated electricity usage. They claimed that Ofgem was looking to impose penalties on firms that consistently breach their limits. Interestingly, they suggested they could provide funding to help lower consumption without mentioning any details regarding electricity contracts at all. After investigating the number, I can only surmise this is ultimately where the conversation may be headed. They've arranged to ring back on Monday to chat with our managing director. Quite a crafty approach, I must say, to gain entry into our discussions!
