Always some scammer trying to get my bank info, same woman’s voice every single call. I block one number and then another pops up next time. It’s like they just keep changing the digits but the story stays the same.

Got a call from someone saying my card was charged £300 overseas for Amazon or something, had to hit #1 or #2 to speak to a person. Definitely felt like a scam.

They're just telling fibs about stopping the VISA payments, it's the same old con!

I've been getting calls from some scammers out of India, claiming to do something called Bank Authorised Push Payment Fraud. They somehow have my phone number tied to my actual name, maybe even my home address, which is spooky. But they don’t know anything about my bank. Their pre-recorded voice always says I was charged £300 on Amazon and £1,100 on some kind of overseas transfer, which is obviously a load of rubbish. They never change up that message either.

Got a call just before 9 in the morning, didn’t pick up since I know those early calls are usually dodgy scams.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank’s security team, said there’d been dodgy activity on my debit card and that someone at my own branch was involved. They wanted me to move my cash to a ‘secure’ account or make a fake transaction to protect it. Turns out this is a classic scam, just a way for them to nick your money. Sometimes they even push you to withdraw loads in cash and post it off to a ‘money mule’. Proper scam from what sounds like Indian fraudsters pretending to work for Visa or the bank!

Got a call from some automated message saying there was suspicious activity on my card. When I pressed 1, an Asian lady came on and asked for my full name and date of birth. As soon as I asked who I was speaking to, the line went dead. It all sounded pretty convincing tbh.

Someone from this number rang me and left a voicemail saying money was taken from my bank. I checked with my bank and there’s no record of any withdrawal.

I've received my third phone call today, all from different numbers, purporting to be from 'Bank Security'. They keep mentioning suspicious payments that supposedly I've made on my credit card. Quite the nuisance!

I received a call earlier that began with a recorded message saying, "This is a notification from bank security." It continued with "you have made two," but I hung up before I could hear more. To my surprise, around 36 minutes later, the same number rang again, starting off in exactly the same way, so I decided to hang up once more right after the initial "bank security" part. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I got a dodgy call that was supposedly from the "Visa Security Team". If you press 2, you end up speaking to scammers based in India planning an Authorised Push Payment Fraud. Initially, they try to collect your personal info like your name, bank details, DOB, and how much cash you got. Then, they'll claim someone at your nearby bank is a fraudster, and you need to transfer your money to a "secure" or temporary account - which is obviously just a trick to nick your cash.

I just got one of those automated calls saying there’s been some dodgy transfers on my bank card, mentioning Amazon and overseas stuff. They asked me to press a button to chat with someone or to stop the payments. But they never say which card they mean or who the account belongs to. I reckon if you press a number, you'll probably end up calling some premium rate line. It's definitely a scam trying to steal money or personal info.
