Today, I received a phone call from a number claiming to be Utilita, my gas and electricity provider. They asked me who I was with, to which I replied it was them. The caller proceeded to take my address and mentioned that she would consult the manager to verify my account status. Quite peculiar, if you ask me! Eventually, she returned to confirm I was indeed a customer (which was pretty obvious, I’m not fibbing here, haha) and wrapped up with a “have a pleasant day” or something along those lines. I'm left wondering whether it was genuine; they definitely knew my name.
