Got a call from Talk Talk early this morning around 8.51, sounded like it was automated. I called them up to check and they quickly confirmed it was a scam call. They wanted to know if I’d lost any money and asked for the number the call came from, which I gave them. Talk Talk handled it really well, being honest and straightforward.

I was at work when they called. I hardly ever use my landline and none of my mates or family have that number, so I’m pretty sure it’s just one of those dodgy random calls. Seems like they just dial numbers in order or something like that.

Seriously, who thinks it’s OK to ring me before 9 in the morning? I bet that ‘official’ organisation or whatever totally blew it with me, there’s no way I’m giving them any money or support now. Honestly, I hope whoever it was has the worst day possible - stuck at work in the freezing cold, bus or train breaking down, and ends up stranded long enough to really feel the bite of the chill and some snow. Serves them right!

I got a call from this number round about 8:30 in the morning but they just cut off as soon as I picked up. Was mid-snooze cos I’d been poorly with a virus for ages, coughing most of the night. Proper annoying! Lately, loads of random calls like this have been coming in from different places, so I’m thinking it might be time to switch my number. Problem is, there’s some important contacts that have this number and it’s 0191 4569204.
