I got a call from a number here in Tyneside, and when I picked up, some recorded voice with a British accent said there were two payments to Amazon on my account - one was over £700! Then it told me to press 1 to speak to someone about finances. I checked both my bank and Amazon accounts, and nothing showed up, so it's definitely a scam. Bit sneaky how they use a local number to try and seem genuine!
