I received a call from a robotic voice informing me that they had been attempting to contact me for a while regarding an issue with my IP address. They prompted me to press 1 to speak with a technician who could resolve the matter. Naturally, I ended the call immediately.

Just got a recorded message saying my internet provider had a security breach and to hit 1 to chat with an engineer or my service would be disconnected. I rang BT afterwards and they confirmed it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from some robot saying my router got hacked and my IP needs sorting, press 1 to talk to someone or they’ll cut off my internet. Total scam! I just hung up straight away. Bet it's one of those expensive numbers, so don’t waste your time calling back.
