Someone rang claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse. When I mentioned the number is on the TPS register, the bloke started shouting horrible things about what he’d do to me. I told him it’d be hard without a c***, and clearly he’s a coward if that’s his idea of a thrill. I put the call on speaker and muted it, but he kept going. Then my husband grabbed the phone and yelled at him in Hindi, which made him hang up quick smart. They tried ringing back, but I just left it on mute and speaker again. Let them waste their time. That number’s blocked for good now.

Today I got a call while I was out playing golf and didn’t answer, thought it might be a scam. After checking the comments I see it’s a WA number so I blocked it. A couple days back I had a ring from 02032867616 saying they were from Carphone Warehouse trying to sell me an iPhone 12 for £30. I turned it down and blocked them too. Seems like the same scammers to me.
