Today I got this dodgy call on my work line from someone claiming to be with Puzzle Digest, saying someone with my number had supposedly won a prize. Since I work remotely and live alone, with no one else using this phone, the only explanation would be if my dog had somehow figured out how to fill in entry forms, which is pretty unlikely! It's quite something to spot one of those scammers commenting below, trying to explain why they do what they do. Honestly, I hope no one takes the bait by contacting the details they've shared here and gets caught up in their scam.

Got a call from this number earlier, but I ignored it since my phone showed it was from "Puzzle Digest," which I've never signed up for or anything. I looked up “Puzzle Digest” and got this number: 0333 202 0651. Pretty clear to me it’s one of those scams trying to nick your bank info or personal data. Got a call from a woman with a Tyneside accent claiming she was ringing on behalf of Puzzle Digest. She said she needed to confirm my details linked to a competition I supposedly entered recently. Trouble is, I haven’t entered any contest. Even though she had my first name and part of my address, when I told her I was confused, she just said no worries and wished me a good day. She was polite enough, but something about it felt off, so I wouldn’t trust that call at all.
