Got another call from Daniel, this time using a Newcastle number to try and seem legit. He said he was from Amazon and told me someone tried to spend £1400 on my account. Claimed they stopped the payment and wanted me to press 1 or 2. Total scam, as I double-checked my bank and there’s no sign of anything dodgy going on.
