Got a scam call earlier and just messed around with them for a bit to see what they wanted. Unsurprisingly, they tried to get me to log into a load of dodgy sites and let them control my computer. They kept calling back repeatedly, using different fake UK numbers each time. What a pain!

Someone rang me saying they were from Virgin but couldn't give me any real info to back it up. They wanted me to check my event viewer and sent me to a dodgy site (bit do/vmhelp or something) which didn’t even load properly. Then they told me to use Anydesk. Turns out this number is linked to a scam according to Wikipedia. Avoid these lot!
