My mum got a call from a woman saying there was a problem with her broadband and that £600 had been withdrawn from her bank. She got told to hit #1 to find out more, and when she did, some bloke with a heavy accent started giving the same story. Luckily, my mum wasn’t having any of it and just ended the call straight away!

I just got an automated call from a daft woman with an English accent saying £600 had been charged to my Visa. She told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk about it. Total nonsense, really annoying!

They said it was an urgent call from Visa Secure, but honestly, it's just one of those countless similar calls I get all the time.
