Got two calls from this number today. Only me and one other person plus my internet provider seem to have this number. Bit worried about how they managed to get hold of it, especially since my phone's meant just for emergencies.

this number phoned me claiming they were from a call blocking company that works with all the main phone networks. they said they’ve been blocking nuisance calls on my line but due to an upgrade, this service is being stopped soon, so they were contacting everyone affected. there was a guy, spoke quite clearly but with a slight asian accent, and he insisted it wasn't any kind of sales pitch. sounds like this call centre might be trying a new approach or something.

Called me asking for someone I’ve never heard of, and as soon as I told them that name doesn’t live here, they just ended the call straight away.

I didn’t answer the phone but used 1471 to check who it was. Then I searched it on "who called me" and after reading the reviews, I quickly blocked the number!

this number rang me and the caller said they were from amazon, but just as strangely they put the phone down straight away. i checked the number on ‘who called’ and saw it was suspicious, so i blocked it right away.

The moment I picked up, they just ended the call.

got a robocall saying it was amazon and that they were gonna take money from my bank account. i rang up amazons customer support and they told me it wasnt them and no payment would be made. they might try again from another phone number so blocking might not do much.

I got a recorded message from a woman saying it was Amazon Prime and that £35 would be taken out of my bank. Sounded dodgy so I just blocked the caller straight away.
