I received an automated call purporting to be from BT regarding my broadband. The voice on the line warned that my internet service was at risk of being cut off within the next day unless I pressed 1 to connect with a technician. I decided to end the call instead.

Got a recorded call supposedly from BT broadband saying my internet was at risk and would be cut off in a day. They told me to press 1 to talk to a tech. I didn’t bother pressing anything and just ended the call since BT isn’t even who I get my broadband from.
