I received a call today, and it was a robotic voice from BT informing me that my internet had been compromised and would soon be shut off. The message instructed me to press 1 to connect with their tech support. So, I did, and an American gentleman picked up. He asked how my day was going, and when I inquired about why my internet was facing an issue today, he abruptly ended the call. Quite odd, to say the least!
