Reports on phone number 01914067097
10 yearsI received a call from a mobile number - 07976968513 - from a fellow named 'James', who had quite the Indian accent. He was keen for me to provide misleading information about my past credit cards and PPI claims. He assured me that I wouldn’t need to share any personal details and would just need to answer a couple of questions to get my documents sent over. Then, I was passed on to another chap, also of Indian descent, before finally being connected to an English woman who promised to ring me back from a 0191 number. However, she proceeded to ask for more of my personal details and then handed me off to another lady wanting even more banking information... It was quite alarming that they already had my previous work postcode! In the end, frustration got the better of me, and I threw in the towel.James10 yearsAfter spending 23 minutes on the phone and speaking to three individuals-two chaps with Asian accents and a woman like myself from England-who kept asking me the same old questions, I finally lost my patience. In the end, they decided to hang up on me! I felt quite uneasy about their intentions, especially since they were trying to coax me into fabricating a claim for PPI reimbursement. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these folks! The first guy I spoke to was called Justin, if I recall correctly!EnglandJustin10 yearsYet another PPI con attempt! I was only halfway into the conversation when I cottoned on to the fact it was a scam. The number linked to it is 02016478984. Best to steer clear and not give them a moment of your time, just ignore them. Cheers, CarlCarl10 yearsI had a peculiar phone call from what seemed to be a different number, inquiring if I recall securing a £5,000 loan somewhere between 2003 and 2009. I played along and mentioned Yorkshire Bank. They claimed they could assist in retrieving £2,500 for me and instructed me on what to say when I spoke to a supervisor. After much ado, I finally got through to someone and explained that I had never actually taken out a loan. The chap on the line had a rather strong Indian accent. Quite the experience, I must say!Yorkshire Bank11 yearsI had a rather shifty phone call regarding PPI that just seemed to drag on forever. Eventually, I hung up, but lo and behold, they rang me back twice after that!11 yearsI had a right old palaver discussing my PPI with Barclays regarding a loan. I ended up chatting with five blokes in total - first there were a couple from Pakistan, then one from India, and finally, I managed to get through to an English chap. What a mix!BarclaysPakistanIndia11 yearsI recently received a call from this number claiming that I had a loan with Barclays, which I honestly can’t recall at all. It feels suspicious to me, and I’m inclined to think it’s a scam.Barclays11 yearsIt seems all this fuss is stemming from a made-up loan with a bank I've never even heard of before. After a while, I decided to ignore their calls and ultimately blocked the number entirely.11 yearsI received a call from this number linked to a supposed PPI recovery firm. They seem to play a game of telephone, shifting you between various agents, all while promising that you’re due a refund. Then they try to fish for your personal details, which I wisely chose not to share. Honestly, they are nothing short of scammers!11 yearsJust received a welcome pack in the mail regarding a PPI claim, but here's the kicker: I’ve never taken out a loan! First, I had three calls in a row from people - the first lot sounded Indian or Pakistani, then a Geordie chappy, and finally, a woman whose accent I couldn’t quite place. Quite the strange experience, I must say! What on earth is going on?11 yearsI just received a rather suspicious call from a company claiming to handle PPI matters. After being passed through to five different individuals, each requesting my personal details, they suggested a home visit to sift through my documents. They seemed to have a strange amount of information about me - my date of birth, my name, you name it. To be honest, I have serious reservations about their legitimacy. Some of the questions posed by each caller felt downright fraudulent to me. I played along to gauge their intentions, but eventually, I made it clear I wasn’t going to engage further. It just feels incredibly fishy. I reckon they might be operating outside the law.11 yearsI couldn’t quite wrap my head around that chap.12 yearsConstantly ringing me, it's quite bothersome.Submit Your Own Report (0191 406 7097)
