When I mentioned my supplier, she quickly realised they mainly deal with businesses, which was odd since I just work from home - not really a proper business or anything.

Octopus Energy have kept calling me quite a few times. I did answer once and spoke to a young lady who asked how much I pay for gas and electric, she was polite but honestly didn’t seem to know what she was talking about. They rang again tonight, this time a bloke who couldn’t even say my surname right - it’s not that hard! When I asked ‘who exactly do you want to speak to?’ he just hung up on me, which was pretty rude and stupid. BE CAREFUL, THEY WON’T SLASH YOUR ENERGY BILLS BY NEARLY TWO THIRDS SO DON’T FALL FOR IT!

I told them I wasn’t keen and they insisted they’re top-rated in my area based on USwitch - but that’s not true, Octopus ranks about fifth for my postcode.
