0191 3846407 called me on the 20/11/23, and it’s a total con. They left an automated message saying there were charges of £14.99 for Amazon Prime and £700 for a Western Union transfer abroad on my bank card, telling me to press a button to talk. Earlier that same day, I had a similar call from a blocked number with a message about some Amazon subscription. The voice was obviously English and the timing seemed fishy because of Black Friday. What’s weird is they showed a local UK number on the caller ID, which just adds to the dodginess.
