Got a call just now from a woman’s voice saying she was from my bank’s fraud department. She told me there were two transactions on my account: one for £300 from Amazon, and another huge one, over £1,000, that was an international transfer. They gave me options to either cancel the payments or talk to an agent, but I didn’t press anything because it seemed fishy. The number showed up as local, which made it trickier to spot. These sorts of calls are really dodgy and could fool people easily!
