We’ve taken to screening every single call, as we’re utterly tired of those persistent cold callers. When this number rang, we decided to ignore it, and wouldn’t you know it, they rang for a good quarter of an hour! Then, like clockwork, they called back immediately after the first attempt, so we simply picked up the receiver and hung it straight back up. Just as we were about to dial out ourselves a moment later, we could still hear someone lingering on the line. A young woman with an Indian accent chimed in with “hello, hello,” but we promptly hung up once more.

We thoroughly vet every call because we're quite weary of those pesky cold callers. Decided to give this one a miss and it rang for a good fifteen minutes. Then, as if on cue, the same number rang immediately after the first, so we picked up and promptly hung up again. Moments later, as we were trying to make a call, we realised someone was still on the line. A woman with an Indian accent kept saying 'hello, hello'. We didn't entertain it; just cut the call.
