ITS ECONOMY energy and I’m already a customer. got an ongoing issue with them about wrong meter readings since I changed providers but I’m refusing to talk till I get something official in writing. honestly, would tell everyone to stay clear of them. they quote you a super low amount for your gas and electric DD then don’t bother sending anyone to check your meter. their customer service is absolutely terrible.

This firm, Economy Energy, straight up snatches customers from other providers. Then they go and supply your gas and electricity without you ever agreeing to it, and when you try to switch back to your old supplier, they flat out refuse. Avoid them no matter what.

I received a rather unsettling call from a chap purporting to be with Economy Energy, insisting that I was in arrears and needed to settle a payment immediately. He mentioned he would ring me back in thirty minutes since I declined to process any payment over the phone. I insisted on receiving a written bill instead. Afterwards, I attempted to get through to customer service, but alas, there was no answer. I'm no nearer to sorting out this issue. It’s utterly absurd for someone to pressure you for money without clarifying what it's all about! People should never be cornered like that regarding their finances.

Got a call from an energy firm trying to convince me to switch to their energy-saving plan. They were pushing smart meters and some offers like £10 emergency credit plus £5 to cover if you use up the emergency credit. I told the person I needed to chat with everyone else at home first, and she said that was alright but kept trying to get me to agree over the phone. I said no, and I could hear other voices in the background like she was talking to other folks too.

I've informed EDF that this company is constantly hounding me. They assured me that there won't be any calls until next year. They've said if I need to, I can reach out to them myself. Should it come to it, I'm considering legal measures.

This number keeps ringing me almost daily for weeks now. I picked up once and got hassled by some women saying they were from economy energy, pushing me to take "special deals" even though I switched from economy energy to EDF ages ago, like 3 months. It’s just some pushy salespeople trying to lure me back with promises of a "free phone". I hung up on them, but they still keep calling, even today - I answered and they just cut the call immediately!
