Hi, I'm actually commenting for my mum who’s been getting loads of annoying calls from this 0191 340 2420 number. She gets about 3 to 4 calls from them every single day for the last couple of weeks on her mobile. She doesn’t know who it is and always just lets it ring off now. I’ve told her not to pick up if she doesn’t know the number, as it’s probably just some telemarketer or worse, someone trying to scam her out of important info. Mum’s nearly 80 and I’m worried these creeps are targeting her because of her age. It’d be brilliant if anyone could tell me who these people are and maybe help stop them ringing. This needs to be sorted and these kinds of calls stopped for good! Thanks in advance.

They rang me yesterday and again today. I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so no clue what they wanted. Best to just ignore unknown numbers.

Got a call from a funeral plan firm about pre-paid options, which I never asked for. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Total pain.
