This morning I received a call from a man who spoke very politely, trying to offer me something to buy. Unfortunately, there was so much background noise I couldn’t make out what he was saying at all.

Lately, I've been getting loads of calls from numbers I don't recognise. When I answer, it's always dead silent, then suddenly the call just drops. One time I caught some breathing noises before the caller finally said "hello" and then hung up right away. It's pretty creepy honestly, and I keep getting these calls from all sorts of different unknown numbers.

I hung up straight away when I figured it was a busy call centre. The woman on the other end, sounded Asian, was probably trying to peddle some sort of product, but honestly I couldn’t make out a word she said.
