Got a call from someone saying they were with EE. Since I work at BT, I have access to the BT/EE staff list, so I checked the name they told me and it wasn’t there at all. When I challenged them about it, they started being rude. Pretty sure it was a scam pretending to be EE.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from EE, but I knew instantly he was lying. Sounded like he was calling from far away, some dodgy place like Bud Bud Ding Ding land or whatever. I let him have it, told him straight up he was a total tosser and no way was he with EE. Told him to jog on and that if I caught him, I'd give his house a right roasting. The cheek of some people! I had a run-in with one of those scam callers and when I asked why they’re targeting old and defenceless folks, they got really smug about it. The guy told me, “while folks like you lot are stuck with a simple meal, if that, we’ll be chilling on Miami Beach soon, drinking fancy cocktails and munching on lobster.” They bragged about making millions despite the cost of living going through the roof, basically saying they’re living it up while everyone else is struggling to get by. Absolutely disgraceful. 🤬
