I received a call from a rather gruff bloke who didn’t hold back on the swearing before abruptly hanging up.

I keep getting calls from this number, but they just hang up after a couple of seconds. It's annoying having to pick up every time for nothing.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the energy advice centre, saying they just wanted to check if I was eligible for a grant and that they weren’t trying to sell me anything. Turns out that’s rubbish! They tried pushing ‘energy efficient’ products like solar panels, double glazing, and insulation. Don’t ever share your details with these random cold callers. The government never rings you up to offer grants - you have to apply yourself if you’re eligible. Seriously, just hang up and don’t give them a second of your time or any personal info!
