I got a rather dodgy call from this number recently. The lady on the line, though quite courteous, had a distinct accent that hinted she wasn’t from these parts. It all seemed a bit too fishy for my liking!

Had a call from this number in Newcastle, some overseas accent guy saying he was from Google security. He told me hackers were messing with my computer and kept asking if I was the owner of the device. Totally dodgy, so I just blocked the number straight away. Definitely a scam.

Some lady with a thick accent called saying she was Jennifer from Google security, you could hear a lot of noise like a call centre in the background. I told her I reckoned it was a scam, but she just kept pushing, asking if I owned the computer and all that. I've blocked the number now but I’m sure they’ll try again using a different one.

I got a call from a bloke named Peter, claimed he was with Google security. He told me my computer got hacked and was supposedly sending messages all over. The guy was pretty pushy and kept threatening that if I didn’t cooperate, my licence would be taken away and my computer would be locked up in thirty minutes. Proper annoying call!
