Got a call about owing tax from HMRC, but I didn't give any info as it sounded dodgy. The person was really pushy and started arguing when I wouldn’t confirm my details. Then they just hung up on me. I rang HMRC directly afterwards and they said they hadn’t made any calls today and it’s definitely a scam. I reported it to both HMRC and Action Fraud like they advised.
