5 yearsI must admit, I'm somewhat in the dark as to whether this call is from a telemarketer or not. Earlier, I received a call from the same Asian lady using this number (the initial call came through on 0208906 4559). She claimed to represent a credit agency, yet neither she nor I identified ourselves, nor did she reveal which credit agency she was associated with. I informed her that I had previously spoken with her on a different number and, feeling quite irked by her underhanded tactic to spark a dialogue, I told her her attempts to disguise her identity with a direct line had fallen flat with me. Then she began to mention her commission, but I firmly interrupted, stating that I had never engaged with any credit agency and requested that she cease all further communications and not to ring me again from any of her numbers. It could very well be a scam-who knows? I wasn't keen on prolonging the conversation, and she ultimately hung up. I wouldn't be surprised if she sends her colleagues my way, but I have no intention of entertaining any conversations. Instead, I might turn the tables on them by probing for the name of their credit agency using similar tactics of my own.5 yearsI received a call from a lady named 'Nina', who clearly wasn’t a local. She mispronounced my name rather badly and as she began to mention her location, she suddenly went silent. I could hear her breathing heavily, and then out of the blue, she just dropped the call. It seemed like she got a bit flustered and couldn’t quite recall the name of the company she was supposedly representing.
