I repeatedly inquired about his identity and what his role entailed, only for him to rudely question whether I was hard of hearing or simply dim-witted before abruptly ending the conversation. I'm keen to find out how I might lodge a formal complaint about such appalling behaviour from someone completely unknown to me.UKNow3 yearsI received a call from a bloke with a very thick Indian accent who actually mentioned my name and address. He insisted he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. Then, peculiarly, he went on to say something about "like my mum..." I quickly interjected, curious as to what his mum had to do with our conversation, and he bizarrely claimed I was just like her. To which I firmly stated that I was nothing like his mother at all. He started off by pleading with me not to disconnect, and to my surprise, he seemed to know my name and even my address! I decided to hang up on him as he was coming across as rather insistent. It's really made me wary of speaking to unknown callers nowadays.
