I received a call telling me my phone had been shipped, but they wanted 48 quid upfront. Paid the money and never got the phone. Quite annoyed about it.

I got a message asking me to ring a number to check my smartphone's mygrade, and they said to mention code 161. Fortunately, I don’t have any credit left, so I couldn’t even make the call.

I received the same text but just ignored it. This site is really handy for looking up numbers though.

Got a text from these lot saying to ring MFUK on 01913038721 to sort out some upgrade and get my new phone delivered, quoting 161. Thing is, they’ve also phoned me before from a withheld number. Luckily, I recorded one of their calls, so I’m planning to use it against them. They’re even using a name that’s already trademarked and ripping off another firm, which just adds to the dodginess. They didn’t even ask if I was on a contract or PAYG, just knew I was with O2. Honestly, they’re scamming people. I’d seriously recommend avoiding this number altogether.
