4 yearsSomeone saying they were from D&G persuaded me to go cheaper, then sneaked money off my credit card without mentioning that certain machines wouldn’t be covered. I tried to sort it with them but it was hopeless, so after about 9 months I finally had to get my credit card company involved to get my money back.D & G4 yearsNo reply from anyone. He was trying to flog me a discount on ‘appliance cover’ for my washing machine, supposedly from a company called UK Protect. I told him I’ve never heard of them and wasn’t interested, then ended the call. This same number has buzzed me a few times before with the same spiel, even though I keep saying no. Seems like a proper scam or some sort of fishing trick. I had a quick look on Google and can’t find any legit info on UK Protect at all.JontyUK ProtectGoogle4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be about household gadgets, total scam.
