This caller masqueraded as mobile.co.uk and assumed I was a customer of theirs, which was quite misleading. Warning sign one: They had no clue about my monthly payments. Warning sign two: They requested sensitive personal details. Warning sign three: They became irritable when I said I'd ring back later using their number. The chap's voice had a British tone but also bore a hint of a Middle Eastern accent. I've gone ahead and flagged this to the authorities, but I'm certain it’s just another spoofed number.
