Had a call from a man claiming to be with BT Openreach about an issue with my internet. He asked me to count the blinking lights on my router. Strangely, even though he said he was connected, he didn’t know how many lights to expect and seemed puzzled when I said there were no lights at all. When I mentioned I actually work for BT, he suddenly hung up - but not before trying to get my patrol info. Gotta give him credit for quick thinking, but yeah, no way I was falling for that one, Mr. Scam.
