I picked up but they just ended the call straight away.

Got a recorded call again this week, second time. They claimed Amazon charged me £300 and there’s a £1000 transaction from abroad on my card. Complete nonsense!

Had a call just after 9 a.m. today, supposedly from Visa. They claimed Tesco had taken £200 from my account and some bigger sum, maybe around £700, had been taken by the London Stock Exchange! It all sounded dodgy so I just ended the call and looked up the number after. There was a weird pause before anyone spoke, felt like it was a pre-recorded message or something.

Got a call this morning from a number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it. Later I checked and heard they mentioned something about my card being used fraudulently but the voicemail stopped midway because my answerphone kicked in too soon. It’s just another one of those annoying scam calls! I swear, I get a few of these every single day and always report them to BT, but it’s like shouting into the void - nothing ever seems to improve. It’s really starting to get on my nerves.

Got a call from this number, and the person on the other end started talking about Tesco and the London Stock Exchange but never actually said who they were. It all felt a bit dodgy, so I just ended the call. Honestly, it’s crazy how you can’t even pick up your phone nowadays without worrying about getting scammed.

A person with a decent English accent rang me up pretending to be from the ‘bank security department’. It didn’t sound truthful at all. I ended the call pretty fast, so I’m unsure what they were after next.

Got a call from this number saying it was Amazon Prime and that our subscription was about to renew automatically. Problem is, we don’t even have an Amazon Prime account.

I received a notification claiming that a payment was deducted from my bank account, requesting my confirmation that everything is in order. What a sham! This is clearly a deceitful scammer who should really face some serious consequences. It's beyond me how people like this aren't locked up!

I didn't pick up, and just before it went to voicemail, the call ended. However, I've received other messages previously regarding money being withdrawn from my account tied to Amazon.

Got a call just after 9 this morning from someone claiming to be Visa. They told me Tesco had taken £200 from my account and that a bigger sum, like £700, went to the London Stock Exchange. The voice sounded like one of those recorded messages - lots of silence before anyone actually spoke. I ended up hanging up and looked up the number afterwards.
