I got a call from someone sounding like they had an Indian accent, saying they were from BT Openreach about my internet being slow. They said they were at 81 Newgate Street in London and gave me a number: 1763596931. That seemed off coz all London lines start with 02, right? When I questioned him about it being a scam, he claimed he wasn’t after my bank info but said they don’t need it to access your PC anyway. As soon as I called him out, he just ended the call.
