Something similar happened to me, but it came from another number. They said I’m about to get arrested because I didn’t hit 1, claiming there’s some sort of scam going on with my BT line. Thing is, I actually use EE. Not sure what would happen if I pressed 1, but honestly, it probably wouldn’t be anything good. Weird situation!

i got a recorded message saying it was from bt, saying there was some dodgy activity on my internet. it told me to press 1 to talk to someone or else there would be serious problems. problem is, my internet isn't even with bt, so i reckon it's a scam. i just ignored the whole thing.
