Got a call from this really enthusiastic guy with what sounded like an Arabic accent. Tried telling him I didn’t get what he was saying and then he just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

This bloke claimed he was from BT Openreach and said my router was sending out warning signals. He then asked me to switch my router on - like I don’t know it’s always on! I told him straight up he was trying to scam me, and he got proper annoyed and just hung up!

I've been inundated with calls to various council numbers from this particular line. It's definitely a scam, so best to ignore any requests they might make!

Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying my internet speed was slower than usual according to their server. When I mentioned they weren’t my provider and questioned why they’d be checking my line, the caller just said have a nice day and abruptly ended the call. Felt really dodgy to me, probably some kind of scam!

Received three calls today from the same number, 01912663435, which had a distinctly Asian tone to it. I opted not to pick up for the first two, but on the third attempt, I answered. The caller claimed to be from BT, saying there was an issue that needed addressing. I informed him that I had no such problem. He insisted he could assist, but then requested I log onto my device and enter a reference number for him to access my account. I firmly declined, recognising it as a scam, and ended the call.
