Got a call from this really enthusiastic guy with what sounded like an Arabic accent. Tried telling him I didn’t get what he was saying and then he just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

This bloke claimed he was from BT Openreach and said my router was sending out warning signals. He then asked me to switch my router on - like I don’t know it’s always on! I told him straight up he was trying to scam me, and he got proper annoyed and just hung up!

Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying my internet speed was slower than usual according to their server. When I mentioned they weren’t my provider and questioned why they’d be checking my line, the caller just said have a nice day and abruptly ended the call. Felt really dodgy to me, probably some kind of scam!

Got three calls today from this number 01912663435, sounded like the caller had an Asian accent. Ignored the first two, but picked up the third. The bloke said he was from BT and there was an issue with my line. I told him I didn’t have any problems. Then he tried to get me to log in and enter a reference code so he could access my account. I told him no way, sounded like a scam, and just hung up.
