I received a call from an Asian gentleman with a rather thick accent, who gave me the impression he was associated with Call Guardian, discussing measures to prevent nuisance calls. He claimed my information was retrieved from their records, which I found quite hard to believe. The moment I brought up the Telephone Preference Service, he abruptly ended the conversation. Definitely raises some red flags regarding the legitimacy of the call!

He insisted that my information was stored in their records. However, as soon as I brought up my registration with the Telephone Preference Service, he abruptly ended the conversation.
