i think this was a scam call from an indian call centre pretending to be virgin media. even though i picked up, there was a long silence before the caller started talking (indian accent), and they kept having trouble hearing me, then just hung up. the same thing happened two more times after that. the following day, i got another call from a different number claiming to be from ‘virgin media’ saying they’d received complaints about slow internet and asked me to install some software to fix it!
