These lot completely disregard the TPS and GDPR guidelines. They claim it’s not a sales pitch since they’re not trying to sell you anything you don’t already have, just “help you save” or whatever rubbish that is.

Total waste of time, proper spammy behaviour, best steer clear.

I received a rather dubious call from someone named Jade at Connect. She started off by asking me to verify that my address was "X" (which she read out loud). Then she proceeded to say that she was on her way to other businesses in my area and wanted to pop by to discuss sorting out my telecoms. I promptly informed "Jade" that my business is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I was about to wrap up the conversation. Honestly, it’s beyond ridiculous; these telemarketing firms clearly don't bother to check the TPS, and raising complaints seems to lead nowhere. This all occurred at 9:24 on a Monday morning, when most folks are trying to get on with far more pressing matters than dealing with unsolicited calls. We’re not living in the 1980s, for goodness' sake! I suggest that Jade, and anyone else from Connect for that matter, be educated on the regulations surrounding cold calling and perhaps take a moment to reconsider their approach.

Got a call today and the person already knew my name, started with some chit chat. When I asked who they were and what the call was about (I was in a rush), they said they'd ring me later. I insisted on finding out who they were but the bloke refused to say, just told me it wasn't important and then hung up. Just another unwanted call! 😤

As soon as you catch wind of that name, hit the block button and hang up without a second thought. There's absolutely no reason to play nice. Honestly, I just want to spare anyone from falling for their antics. This clueless chap rang up looking for someone who doesn’t exist, and then proceeded to ramble on about his supposed partnership with Open Reach, promising all sorts of ‘benefits’ for the business at no added expense. When I politely declined, he suddenly lost his temper and started yelling, 'are you daft, ARE YOU DAFT?!' Unbelievable!

What an utter pain this Ryan chap is! Honestly, he hasn’t got the foggiest idea about anything. Even after being directed multiple times, he keeps ringing back as if we’re old friends or something. Typical of those business types - all about their local connections, blah-de-blah. Seriously, when will we have the ability to push back? A fine would be lovely, or perhaps a lawsuit would do the trick!

I've been inundated with numerous calls from this particular number, and it appears to be a relentless stream of bothersome sales pitches, predominantly promoting mobile phones. It’s really rather frustrating!
