Got calls from people claiming to be Talktalk reps, but I've not been with them for ages, so if they were legit, they'd know that! They rang me like 7 times just yesterday. I kept getting more annoyed and rude each time, but they just keep coming back. Honestly, I’m fed up with these scammers. Why does it always seem to be Talktalk-related stuff? I’m registered with the TPS and even had my number unlisted, but it doesn’t stop them. There’s got to be a way to track these fraudsters down, surely?

I've been receiving similar calls recently. When I requested them to verify the account holder's name and address, they just dropped the call. It's worth noting that our phone line was only recently installed, meaning TalkTalk is the sole provider of our number. Quite puzzling, isn't it? How on earth are they managing to get numbers associated with TalkTalk?

Today, I got another call from this exact number claiming to be with TalkTalk. When I asked for proof, the caller said he'd share my TalkTalk account number. To my surprise, he actually knew the right account number! I then rang TalkTalk directly and they told me they wouldn’t ever give out your account details on a call like that. They’re looking into it now and said they’ll block this number to stop any more dodgy calls.

Got a call from 01912590507 earlier today about my router being faulty and needing me to press some keys next to CTRL or something, then type in some codes. I played along for a bit but when he asked what was showing on my screen, I just told him, "It says this bloke on the line is talking rubbish." He’s rung me back a couple of times after that, swearing and then hanging up. If he rings again, I’m definitely reporting it to the police.

Usually the person calling is from India, so you might think it's really TalkTalk on the line, but don't be tricked. It's a total scam. They'll say there's some fault or issue with your router and promise to post out a replacement in a couple of days. They'll try to get your address and other info, stuff that a legit TalkTalk rep would already know. Just don’t fall for it and never hand over any info, not even your name.

I got a call from this number on 1st August, they claimed to be from Talk Talk and said there was something wrong with my router. I told them I’m not even a Talk Talk customer, and they just cut me off. When I tried to look up the number afterwards, it turns out it’s not real. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

So, some joker claiming to be from Talk Talk rings me up and starts the usual old router nonsense. then, they even say they’ll send an engineer over! Well, I kept them busy, they wanted to know what key is next to my ctrl key. I said "wnkr" without missing a beat. They weren’t convinced and asked again. I told them my keyboard’s German, so that key actually says "fckr". They asked me to open the Start menu and describe what I see. I rattled off a bunch of German words I know. And now, they say an engineer’s supposed to show up at 8 am. Yeah, right!

I've been getting calls from this number loads of times each day, they say they're from TalkTalk and that there's something wrong with my computer. Every time I tell them they're not really TalkTalk, and they just say, "How did you find out!" I've told them to stop calling and to remove me from their list, but no luck. Does anyone know who I can complain to about this? It's getting really annoying now.

I got a call from this number earlier but didn’t pick up since I avoid answering calls from strangers. Normally, if they leave a voicemail I might give them a ring back if it seems important, but nothing came through. Afterward, I checked out the comments here and decided to block the number. Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, said there was an issue with my internet and that they’d send a new router. Later, I checked with a proper TalkTalk rep online who confirmed it wasn’t them - I had my suspicions when they asked me to run something. Just put this number on your block list. They keep calling from "TalkTalk" and say they have your info like name, address and even an old account number to prove who they are. If you don’t play along, they usually cut the call. But then they ring again and just hang up straight away. Total waste of time!

Got a couple of calls from these muppets today, both times from the same number but with different area codes - one starting with 0121 and the other 0191. They forgot to hide their number though, so I didn’t bother blocking them straight away. Earlier on, I also had two rings from blocked numbers, reckon it was the same lot. One of those blocked ones said it was from ‘talktalk’. Bit of a nuisance, but nothing too dodgy yet.
