I’m not quite sure if there's a connection, but not long ago I received a recorded message that I can't return since it didn’t provide a contact number. They were pitching all sorts of products, including solar panels and some sort of grant programme. Being on the ex-directory list and living in a property managed by a housing association, I wouldn’t even consider signing up for anything. On other occasions, they’ve also called without leaving a number to get back to them, and when I’ve answered, they never properly identify themselves but always assure me that they’ll take me off their list-yet they never do. Of course, it could just be a coincidence, and perhaps this latest call isn’t linked to those. I could ring back on the number I've got now, but I'd much rather they not contact me at all.
